david miller: Firmly rooted, personal stories and observations from Matador senior editor. Crystal writing with no pretension or fluff.
Dirtbag Writer: Salt Lake City gal who spends an enviable amount of time in the great outdoors.
Driving Like a Maniac: “When in Italy, and all that…”
Eva Holland: Senior Editor at World Hum, this is the best way to keep up with Eva’s writing.
Fevered Mutterings: Hilarious ranting, enthusing and opining from Mikeachim. Or Mike Sowden. Not sure he knows which any more!
Flying Suitcase: Thoughtful, evocative and creative, with lots of narratives.

I Eat My Pigeon: “Red faced expatriate fun” that makes you laugh out loud.
Intelligent Travel: Blog of National Geographic Traveler, concentrating on cultural, authentic and sustainable travel.
Kaleidoscopic Wandering: Ambitious and inspiring freelance writer who covers a load of ground, both in actuality and in her writing.
Lonely Girl Travels: Sassy and thoughtful travel blog from Lauren Quinn, who is “not a corporate escapee, reformed 9-5er, or English teacher living in Asia.”
Matador Network: The largest independent travel publication on the web. Twelve interlinked blogs, an active community, and even a travel writing course!
Mike’s Ryukyu Gallery: Sweet pictures and straight-talkin’ writing from the grizzled old man of Okinawa.
mischief and impermanent bliss: A quirky take on travel, activism, photography, art. And lots and lots of music.
miss.adventure: The honest misadventures of an accidental adventurer.

NileGuidance: NileGuide’s blog. Great for offbeat tech reviews and interviews with different flavours of travel ninja.
NileGuide: Interactive trip planning guide to destinations around the world. (Disclosure, I’m one of their Local Experts.)
Rerunaround: Shawn’s off around the world with no discernible plan, other than making me laugh out loud with his spot-on blog posts.
Sharing Travel Experiences: Great resource that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Sophie’s World: Sophie wanders the world, mostly with kids, sometimes solo.

The Sicilian Experience: Informative and passionate blog about, you guessed it, Sicily.
The World is too Big: Informative travel blog by Paris-based tour guide, Matt Scott.
Travel Writers Exchange: Resources to help writers find their voice and succeed in online travel journalism.
Trazzler: Unique and innovative travel site that enables virtual teleportation. Definitely check out their Writing Contests too, they offer some pretty sweet prizes.

World Hum: “The best travel writing on the Internet.” ‘Nuff said.
